Veras had a big week as he helped the Cyclones split a pair of road games. The freshman averaged a team-best 26.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game last week. He also added three steals and two assists while shooting 54.8 percent from the field. Veras poured in a season-high 36 points in the win at Clarks Summit on Wednesday night. His 36 points are tied for the third most in single-game history at Centenary. He shot 62.5 percent from the field and added nine rebounds, two assists and three steals. Veras added 17 points and nine rebounds in the game at Cairn.
