LaBelle turned in a huge performance at the Medgar Evers Tournament and led the Cyclones to back-to-back wins. The sophomore guard averaged 23 points, 7.5 rebounds and five assists per game to earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team. LaBelle scored a season-best 26 points against New Rochelle in the tournament opener. He added six assists and five rebounds against the Blue Angels. Against Medgar Evers in the tournament finale, LaBelle contributed 20 points and a career-best 10 rebounds for his first career double-double.
