Veras turned in a season-best performance on the boards against Rutgers-Newark. The freshman pulled down a season-high 11 rebounds to lead the Cyclones against the Scarlet Raiders. He did most of his work on the defensive end, hauling in nine defensive rebounds. Veras added four points and an assist in the game.
