Christopher Muce posted falls in each of his first three bouts while winning the 157-pound bracket of the Bob Quade Cyclone Open. He took down his first opponent, Alex DiLegge of Nassau Community College in 2:44. Muce needed 2:32 to register the fall against Barry Boyle of Williamson and then he posted a fall over Dylan Skidmore of Rowan College at Gloucester County in 4:38. Muce earned an 8-3 sudden victory decision over Antonio LaRocca of Hunter in the semifinals. He then earned his first title of the season with a 3-2 decision versus Elijah Murphy of American.
