Alvarez had a big game in her first contest for the Cyclones. The junior transfer posted her first double-double at Centenary in the season opener against Arcadia. She finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Cyclones. Alvarez shot 5-for-9 from the field and went 4-for-6 from the charity stripe.
