Centenary University

Vargas was a key contributor on a defensive unit that broke the school record for single-season shutouts. Centenary had a pair of shutouts last week en route to the CSAC Championship giving them 12 for the season.

In the semifinal win over Rosemont, Vargas and the defense limited the Ravens to just one shot.

In the championship game against Cedar Crest, Vargas got back on several plays and either cleared the ball or got the ball out of bounds allowing the rest of the defense to get back and reset.
