Young had a strong finish to his freshman campaign for the Cyclones. He averaged 13 points and six rebounds per game while adding two assists, three steals  and a block in the final week.

At Keystone, Young contributed nine points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal.

In the regular season finale at Gwynedd Mercy, Young turned in one of his best performances of the season. The guard exploded for a season-high 17 points and eight rebounds. He also contributed two steals and a block.
