Santiago and Jasiecki Named MCBL All-Stars


HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Jul. 20, 2016)- Centenary University baseball sophomore Luis Santiago (Dover, N.J. / Dover) and freshman Ryan Jasiecki (Ledgewood, N.J. / Roxbury) both have been named Metropolitan College Baseball League (MCBL) All-Stars.

Santiago was named to the MCBL Americans squad, while Jasiecki was named to the MCBL Nationals squad.

Santiago has posted a 5.85 ERA with 15 strikeouts and a 3-2 record in 47.2 innings for the Overpeck Creek Monsters. Jasiecki has posted a .238 batting average with 19 hits, 16 runs scored, 12 walks and three RBI's in 22 games for the Randolph Chiefs.    

These two will square off in the MCBL All-Star game, which will be held at the Palisades Credit Union Park in Pomona, N.Y. on Thursday, Jul. 21 at 1:00 p.m.
